This addition to the 8 inch pine wood sailer is modeled the junk rig. The junk rig is credited to the Chinese. Its unique use of battens strengthen and provide excellent sail control. Hull is square ended with cut away bottom at bow and stern. This product is sold as a model kit for you to enjoy building, not as a completed wood boat model.
